Although the Blessing 3 is “technically” better, the tuning as a whole is more desirable on the Blessing 2 in my opini.

After months of research, I've narrowed it down to two contenders: the Moondrop Blessing 3 and the long awaited Blessing 3 Dusk, now called the Dusk. My decision-making process was heavily influenced by the venerable Crinacle, even though he reviewed the Blessing 2s and introduced the Dusk version. Here's where I need your input, fellow Redditors. As the title suggests, you can turn your Blessing 2 into a Dusk via simple EQ. I developed this after having a chance to review these two IEMs for headphones.com here and here. As you can see in the graphs, this EQ makes the Blessing 2 practically identical to that of the Dusk.If you look at the Dusk and Monarch mkii, their tuning is almost a dead on match. If you like Dusk, you will probably like Monarch mkii. If you think Dusk is too upper mid forward, then U12t will probably be great for you. Spoiler: My Gear. Headphones - IEM/Earbud. I picked up the Blessing 2 Dusk a few months ago as my first IEMs above $50. I think they are fine but I'm not blown away like I was expecting to be based on the feedback I've seen online. I listen to these when I go to the office for work and I like to listen to high ...Others just prefer less. And the non-Dusk version of the Blessing is made for those of us who actually want the bass tuning that it has. I got the Blessing 3 because the entire tuning signature is almost exactly my preferred sound, including the bass. And if there was only 1 bass head version of the Blessing 3 then I wouldn't have gotten it.Blessing 2 Dusk, My IEM Endgame. Same, don't really see a point in upgrading when you factor in diminishing returns. My own endgame is the Dunu EST 112. Unless you have a ton of disposable income, upgrading from the EST 112 is way too expensive and not worth it. Yeah for sure these are extremely enjoyable.Blessing 2 or dusk . I've recently purchased the er4xrs but got pretty bored at how neutral it sounded even though it's accuracy was incredibly. I listen to a lot of rock, jazz, indie and hiphop, maybe some city pop too.Variations. I'm not familiar with the Fiios, but afaik, they tend to lay the bass on pretty thick in general. The Variations have considerably better (and more) bass than the Dusk. The detail and separation are also a step up. That said, I think you would be underwhelmed by the Dusk, regardless of how good they actually are.question about moondrop blessing 2 (dusk) filters. The only reason why I'm buying Monarch now is, there is no way I'm paying over 1k for IEMs, and Monarch seem to be up there with the top sets. I contemplate going up to the $1k mark or just staying with the Dusk.IE 600 is arguably the most visceral, physical IEM in my collection of nearly 200 IEMs. Sound signature is basically V-shaped (U-shaped if you wanna be charitable), but with very well-tuned midrange. Treble is a bit aggressive, and bass is deep and big without any midrange smearing.Fit-wise, the Starfield is much better, something to bear in mind. I can use the Blessing 2 Dusk fine but fit isn't their strong point, the nozzle is very large, they are big and heavy, and the fit is awkward. The Starfield fit is very good by contrast. The Blessing 2 Dusk is definitely better but it's also substantially more money. The collaboration between Moondrop and Crinacle is highly esteemed among audiophiles worldwide. The IE300 for Sennheiser- Single DD setup that's a bit bassy and bit v shaped. The nozzle is very small and fits in your ear almost flush.Variations has better technicalities. The tuning is more sub bass heavy than the blessing 3 for sure but other than that it's not going to sound that much diffirent.
